How Destination Care Works
Traveling with children requires flexibility, deep trust, and calm energy. Travel care is structured around three primary options:
The In-Transit Travel Assistant
An extra set of hands from takeoff to touchdown. Assistance with airport navigation, stroller gear, mid-flight distractions, and baggage coordination.
The Vacation Rental & Resort Concierge
Once at the destination, our provider establishes an intentional play space right in the rental home, hotel suite, or villa. While adults dine out, attend weddings, or head to the spa, children enjoy tailored sensory play, local outings, and structured bedtime routines.
Destination Weddings & Multi-Family Retreats
Planning a getaway with extended family or a bridal party? Coordinated on-site lounges and group care keep multiple little cousins engaged without disrupting formal event schedules.

Thoughtful travel sensory bins, open-ended wooden toys, craft projects, and local storybooks packed specifically for the trip.
Safety & Screening Baseline
Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification, and verified childcare liability coverage.

Up to 8 hours/day care at your Arizona destination (Sedona, Flagstaff, Tucson, Rim Country, ect.)
Additional Travel Expenses:
Round-trip mileage (standard IRS rate) + private lodging if past 9:00 PM.
$600 – $750 / day (+ $50/hr for overtime)

Additional Travel Expenses:
Flights, private lodging, ground transit, & $75/day meal per diem.
$850 – $1,100 / day (+ $65/hr for overtime)

Travel Logistics & Booking Terms
Travel Time
In-flight hours, car travel time, and transit delays count toward the daily active care hours.
Lodging Standards
For overnight trips, the client provides safe, private accommodations (a separate hotel room or a private bedroom in a shared vacation rental).
Daily Per Diem
A flat $65 per diem is provided for meals when dining separately from the family.
Expenses
Airfare (including one checked bag for gear), rental car/rideshares, and pre-approved excursion tickets for outings with the children are covered by the client.
Booking Retainer
A 50% non-refundable retainer locks in travel dates on the calendar, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to departure.
